She values her own space and will do best with a consistent routine and access to safe chew toys and enrichment activities. While she can be left alone for short periods (4–6 hours), proper adjustment time is important in her new home. Sleeping Habits Taffy used to sleep inside her rescuer’s home and now sleeps peacefully in a designated area alongside two other dogs. Temperament Taffy is a sweet and affectionate pup with a gentle spirit. She may be a little cautious at first in a new environment, but once she settles in, her joyful, loving nature shines bright. She’s eager to learn, seeks connection, and absolutely loves meeting people. Taffy enjoys playtime with other dogs, but her true favorite thing is making new human friends. She thrives on attention, affection, and being included in daily life. Because she’s still young, continued social interaction and positive experiences are essential to support her confidence and development. Ideal Home Taffy will do best with a loving, active person or family who’s ready to make her part of their daily life. She’s still full of puppy energy and will flourish in a home that offers structure, affection, and outdoor adventures. Whether she joins a home as the only dog or as a second companion, she’s adaptable and social. Taffy’s ideal person is someone patient, kind, and ready to help her grow into the loyal best friend she’s meant to be. Her Rescue Story In early January 2025, Taffy was found in a local park in Guadalajara with a homeless individual. Concerned neighbors had witnessed her being mistreated and reached out for help. One day, while the person was distracted, her rescuer called out—and without hesitation, Taffy jumped into their car as if she knew this was her chance. She left behind a hard past and stepped into a new chapter with joy and hope. At her rescuer’s home, she lived with another recently saved dog and quickly formed a strong bond. She adjusted beautifully to the home environment, showing how eager she was to learn, belong, and be loved. Taffy is still young, still learning, and full of life. She's ready to find a forever family who will give her the love and security she’s always deserved. Taffy is ready to bring joy, adventure, and unconditional love to your life. Will you be her forever? Apply today: www.northwestwagrescue.org ##2414223##
