My story

Bunny is a very sweet 1.5 year old, 30 lb beagle who simply wants her person who will cuddle with her. She is friendly with other dogs and an ideal home would have a canine companion. Bunny loves to run and sniff and would do best in a home in a suburban or rural area with a fenced yard. She is still learning to walk on leash and will pull (and howl!) when she catches the scent of a rabbit, which is typical beagle behavior. She has been in her New England foster home for two weeks and is making progress on housetraining. Bunny is occasionally fearful of new people and will need time and patience to fully blossom in her furever home. If you’d like to apply to adopt, please submit an application using the link below. Our dogs are in foster homes throughout the area or in some cases in the south waiting to be transported north. We do not have a physical shelter. Once the phone interview is completed, we will check your vet reference as well as a personal reference and conduct a home visit.
