This beautiful black-and-white girl was seen cautiously crossing a road, and it was clear she needed help. A kind-hearted person scooped her up and brought her to one of our volunteers, and sure enough, Dottie was pregnant. Just a couple of weeks later, she gave birth to three precious kittens (who will be available for adoption soon!). Now that she’s done her job as a mama, it’s Dottie’s turn to find the love and safety of a forever home. Dottie is incredibly friendly, loves being pet, and is just as sweet as she is beautiful. She has a calm, gentle energy and would make a lovely companion for just about any household. Let’s get this wonderful mama cat the happy ending she so deserves. All pets are microchipped, and the registration fee paid for lifetime. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have. NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption. If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement. We DO NOT adopt to anyone under the age of 21.
