My story

🐾 Meet BALBOA 🐾 Small in size, big in spirit — and a true survivor. Balboa’s story could have ended far too soon. He was near the top of of the euthanasia list at the shelter — simply because he’d been there too long, and because he’s a pit bull puppy in an overcrowded system. But when we came to rescue another dog, we couldn’t leave this sweet face behind. Now safe in foster care, Balboa is proving just how much love and life he has to give. At just 6 months old and around 25 pounds, he’s still growing — but already has a huge heart. 🐶 What makes Balboa so awesome? 💫 Happy, playful, and full of joy 🐕 Great with other dogs 🐱 Respectful of cats 🧸 Loves toys, people, and attention 🩺 Vetting scheduled soon — he’ll be fully up to date! Despite what he’s been through, Balboa is resilient, affectionate, and eager to belong. He would love a home where he can run, play, and curl up next to someone who sees beyond the label and recognizes the treasure that he is.
