My story

Meet Wayne — a five-year-old sweetheart ready to trade the shelter for your couch! This gentle boy has a history of living peacefully with cats and even bunnies (he’s been known to cuddle up with a cat friend). Surrendered by his previous owner due to their health issues, Wayne comes fully house- and crate-trained, making him an “easy button” kind of dog. With low-to-medium energy, he enjoys a nice walk but loves a good nap even more. Wayne has the softest fur you can imagine, is a quiet companion, and has been playful with larger dogs in the past, likely doing well with slow introductions. He has also lived with children before, adding to his versatile charm. If you’re looking for a calm, loving, and easy-going companion, Wayne is ready to be your new best friend.
