Name:  Lyla         Best Guess for Breed:  Beagle and shepherd mix   Best Guess for Age: 6 months as of June 2025         SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight:   28 lbs as of 6/21/25; she is still growing!   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  DC area foster! This sweetie is at the tail end of puppyhood, has all that young dog energy and is eager to get her own humans for long sniffy walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures they can dream up. And lots of play time and snuggles! Dog school would be great too, so she can show how super smart she is. Quality kibble and a cushy dog bed are on her wish list as well.   But you know what she wants most of all? To know where she belongs, to be safe and loved and under her own roof. She's got so many adoring gazes, so much love and loyalty to offer. What do you say? Is Lyla the companion you have been seeking? What My Foster Says About Me:   She has a lot of playful puppy energy and loves following her people around, looking for cuddles. She gets along great with the resident dog, looking to engage him in play and wrestling. She is doing great with crate training and house training, and working on calm leash walking. Overall, she is a happy, friendly, playful pup and will be a great addition to any family! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this puppy is $485, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
