TORNADO NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!   Come meet Tornado and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (7/13) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Rockville (5154 Nicholson Ln, Kensington, MD 20895)!    Name:  Tornado        Best Guess for Breed:  American Bulldog mix Best Guess for Age: 3 years as of June 2025        SEX:   Female   Approximate Weight:   47 lbs   Gets Along With:  Tornado lives with dogs and cats in foster care. We haven't seen her with kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters.   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home   Tornado is Looking For: First of all, you need to know that the only things vaguely tornado-like about this super sweet girl are: 1. Her tail! That tail wag when she's happy! And 2. The full force of her love.    This loving, happy girl landed in the shelter due to no fault of her own. She was pulled just in the nick of time and is going to enjoy being in an amazing foster home until she gets her forever family. Here's what she's looking for: LOVE! Giving and getting it! Sniffy walks and romps and all that good stuff Adventures! Quality kibble and a cushy dog bed - yes, those too. AND - she's ok with a name change. She says yeah, she's got a lot of love to unleash but a tornado is destructive and she doesn't want to be known for that. She's lobbying for Cuddles. Or Squish, both for her face and for the way she melts into you. But she's open to whatever her forever family wants.  What do you say? Is this awesome girl the one for you? Are you Tornado's happily ever after? What My Foster Says About Me:  This sweet and affectionate pup is a total delight! She absolutely lives for tennis balls and rolling in the grass, and she’s always ready to share her love with people and pups alike. She's playful and active without being over the top, and she takes great cues from other dogs, making her a respectful and thoughtful playmate. She's learning the ropes with leash walking and is already pretty good with her crate when guided. Her signature 'squeaky toy' bark is sure to make you smile, and she’s showing promise with cats, too. With her joyful spirit and loving nature, she's going to make a lucky family very happy! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
