Name:   Askew        Best Guess for Breed:   Chihuahua mix   Best Guess for Age:  8 months as of June 2025        SEX:  Male   Approximate Weight:  8 lbs as of 6/20/25; likely has a bit more to grow   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home   Askew is Looking For:   His forever home! This sweetie arrived in the shelter with his brother Awry. They're ready to split up and Askew is now eagerly looking forward to having his own humans for sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. On his own four paws, please - 'purse dog' is not his life goal. And he'd like to go to dog school so he can show how super smart he is. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together. And he'll want quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. Most of all, though, he wants to know he's safe and loved. In exchange he promises all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags he's storing up, and loyal companionship for all his days. What do you say? Is Askew the one you see by your side?   What My Foster Says About Me:  We will update this once he has spent more time in foster care Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
