My story

Meet Jersey – our soft-hearted water baby There’s something incredibly special about Jersey. Maybe it’s the way she gently leans in for connection, or how she lights up when she’s near water or romping with another dog. She’s a 4-month-old large breed mix with a quiet sweetness that sneaks up on you and stays. Jersey isn’t the life of the party—she’s the one watching from the edges, tail wagging softly, waiting for a sign that it’s safe to join in. And when she does? Pure joy. She’s playful, loving, and incredibly genuine. This girl thrives with other dogs and would absolutely adore having a canine sibling to help show her the ropes. But with patience and consistency, she’ll do beautifully as a solo dog too—as long as there’s someone in the home who really sees her. She just wants a friend. Whether they have two legs or four, that’s all she’s looking for If you love a gentle soul, a quiet observer, a dog who might need a little extra time but gives you her whole heart in return—Jersey might be your girl.
