Hello big world! My name is Mani and here's some more about me: PHYSICAL INFO: Breed: Chihuahua/Terrier mix (best guess!) Age: 1 year 6 months approx. Gender: Male Weight: 8.5lbs (4 kg) Current Location: Guadalajara Mexico RESCUE STORY - My foster had noticed me and my mom Tabatha living rough on the streets for 6 months before trying to catch us. Although we snuck away from them for awhile, eventually they were able to scoop us up and bring us to their home. Although we were scared for the first couple of weeks, eventually we were able to feel completey safe in our new environment and our loving and playful personalities began to show :) Now we are looking for our very own home (ideally together as we are bonded), where we can continue to shine! TEMPERAMENT - I have been described affectionately as a 'loving ball of fluff'! I love to give lots of kisses, and play with other pups. I am a smart and happy doggo who is known for my zoomie tornadoes when I play and my love of sneaking up on other pups to give them a surprise boink! As my mama and I were living on the streets for awhile, I do have some hunter instincts towards squirrels and big dogs when I'm on a leash - I can get exciteable and would work best with an adopter who can work with me through this. When playing with my doggy friends in the park, however, I am very friendly! ENERGY LEVEL - Medium GETS ALONG WITH: Kids – Unknown Dogs – I get along well with other pups and currently live with many other doggos at my foster's house! Cats – Yes! I currently live with cats. PREY DRIVE - Unknown. I’m not too sure how I’ll react around squirrels/rabbits etc. My adopter needs to be prepared and willing to train me through these behaviours, should they arise. TRAINING: Leash skills – My rescuers say I am okay with my leash skills, however I may need some additional patience and training :) House trained – My rescuer says I am okay with this but I may need some additional training and patience. Crate trained – My rescuer says I am okay with this but I may need some additional training and patience. Car rides – My rescuer says I am okay with this but I may need some additional training and patience. Please Note: WCP highly encourages adopters to do some research and training on their own before their dog arrives. HEALTH NOTES: I am neutered and vaccinated. NOTE: It is not uncommon for rescue dogs to require dental work/cleaning after they are adopted. West Coast Paws does not cover the costs of dental work and/or vet visits. These costs are the financial responsibility of the adopter. ADOPTION FEE: My adoption fee is $840.00 CAD including tax (5% GST, 7% PST), which includes my airfare, if a flight volunteer is found directly to Vancouver. ------------------------------------- DISCLAIMER: Please visit wcpdogrescue.com to read about West Coast Paws Dog Rescue and it's adoption process. The info included in each WCP bio is provided to us from the international rescuer. WCP does not have in-person access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions, although we ask for video proof of a dog's attributes wherever possible. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person(s) adopting them and the environment in which they live. WCP is unable to guarantee the accuracy of a dogs age and/or breed. These are strictly "best guesses" based on veterinary exams and their educated estimates. ##2446142##
