This little black kitten is part of our “Surrender” litter, born into a world already bursting at the seams with cats needing homes.His name reflects the words we hear too often: “We have too many pets.” “We can’t take care of another one.” It’s not said with cruelty—it’s said with heartbreak. Because the truth is, people are overwhelmed, and kittens like him pay the price.But none of that is his fault. Too Many Pets is just a baby, full of quiet sweetness and innocence, with soft black fur and the gentlest little face. He’s a reminder of why rescue work matters, and why every life—no matter how small or how common—is worth saving.He’s not “too many.” He’s just one. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as "Out of Town" pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
