My story

UPDATE: We recently learned from the Ophthalmologist that Martha is blind. They are running further tests to determine the extent, but it appears she is blind and will do best if she lives with a seeing dog to show her the ropes. She navigates exceptionally well for a blind pup. Here's her bio: I'm Martha, a 7-month-old Aussie Shepherd mix. I weigh about 30 pounds now and will probably stay on the petite side. I have the classic Aussie wiggle and an adorable foxy face. I'm a very loving, playful dog who adores interacting with people. I'm excellent with other dogs and have been very patient with the rambunctious younger puppies I have met at the shelter! I've been cat tested, too, and likely would be fine living with a cat. I'm crate trained and have started learning to walk on a leash. I ride well in the car, and overall I'm eager to please, so I'll be fun to train. I'm already spayed and ready to find my forever home!
