My story

Say hello to Frank! This handsome 75-pound boy is full of potential and ready to find his forever home in a calm, quiet, and patient household. Frank would thrive with a family committed to continuing his training and socialization—he’s smart and just needs the right guidance to shine. Frank is house trained and does well on leashed walks. Since joining the Rocket Dog community, he’s been curious and observant, taking in all the new sights and sounds with cautious interest. Frank will do best in a quiet neighborhood-suburban/country-with confident adopters who can give him the patience he needs. He’d do well with a canine female companion, as well. Update from his foster: “Frank is unphased by other animals (even the elusive squirrel!) and might fit in well in a multi-species home. We also believe he’s younger than his stated age.”* We’d love for you to meet Frank and see for yourself what a special dog he is. Let’s make plans to meet by filling out an adoption questionnaire. (MC) *Ages of many of our dogs are educated guesses from previous shelters. Please take this into account and don’t be put off that Frank is supposedly 7; he very well may be younger!
