My story

Meet Scrappy!Scrappy is a 2-month-old Labrador Retriever mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. She’s curious, loving, and carefree—always ready to explore, play, and cuddle. Despite some early-life challenges, nothing slows her down. Scrappy is as happy as can be and absolutely adores people and other dogs.While she hasn’t been tested with cats yet, she’s very social and thrives in environments where she can interact and learn. As a young and energetic pup, Scrappy would do best in an active home with a more experienced dog owner who can help guide her through continued training.She’s incredibly smart and loves working for treats! Like most puppies her age, she’s still learning what’s okay to chew—shoes are a current favorite—so she’ll need plenty of toys and consistent exercise to keep her busy and on the right track.After a day of play, Scrappy is more than happy to curl up for a snuggle session. She’s a true gem with so much love to give.Scrappy is currently in foster care outside of the shelter.
