MONKEY- IN FOSTER

My story

Meet Monkey! Monkey is a 2yr old lady looking for humans that will let her be who she is and get to know them on her timeline. Who is she? Well, let me tell you. Monkey is a very shy girl. Upon arriving in foster she would do anything not to be touched or pet. After a few days, she allowed chin scratches. Mind you, I said `allowed,` not `liked.` We aren`t sure of her past experiences with people, but something in her is very fearful of new people and change. If you move too quickly, so will she....to the other side of the room. She will need time, patience and space to call her own in her new home. If you`re in the market for a lap cat, she isn`t it. That said, she has come a very long way since coming to foster and it`s time to find her a furever home. What she loves:1. A high perch with a window to look out of, because birds are the *best*2. a fresh catnip plant (it chills her out)3. a container of Temptations treats (catnip or shrimp flavor are her favs)...please leave the treats next to her as she has dignity and won`t eat from your hand4. She likes other cats (both male and female) and isn`t bothered by bigger personalities. She`s a night owl, as her foster mom can hear her playing with toys through the door at night.5. Wet food! She loves any flavor of wet food and licks the bowl clean every time!What she does not love: 1. Quick movements (see above)2. Being picked up (see the dignity comment please).3. Sitting on laps. She prefers to admire her humans from afar, preferably from a high perch so she can look down on them.4. Loud noises, so this would mean a home without doggos and small humans.
