My story

Hello world, My name is Esmerelda and I am a beautiful Shepherd looking for an active family who also loves to spend time watching TV or sitting by the fire reading. I was dumped in a rural community. While wandering around, I walking up to a trailer in the fall (2024). The nice man who lives there is older and on a fixed income with a heart of gold. He made me a warm soft bed with food and fresh water. One fall morning when the man came out to bring me food & water, I had a surprise for him. During the night I had given birth to 4 puppies. When my babies became old enough for a home of their own, he made sure everyone got great homes. Thanksgiving time it was my turn to go to the vet and get me ready for adoption. While getting spayed and all my vaccines, it was discovered I am heartworm positive. Since that time to present, I have been treated and am heartworm negative.
