We were contacted by a tenant at an apartment complex who found this pregnant beauty curled up on her porch, seeking a safe place to have her baby. Of course, we couldn’t say no—and not long after arriving in our care, Callie gave birth to a single precious kitten named Angelina. Now that her mama duties are done, Callie is ready for a forever home of her own—and she deserves nothing less than the best. She is friendly, affectionate, and loves lounging in sunny spots and receiving gentle pets. Callie has done a wonderful job raising Angelina, and the two have a sweet bond. We would love for Callie and Angelina to be adopted together, especially if you don’t already have another young cat in your home for Callie to bond and play with. They are both healthy, fully vetted, and ready to fill your home with love, purrs, and companionship. Transport available to the New England area. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have. NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption. If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement. We DO NOT adopt to anyone under the age of 21.
