My story

Remember Aggie, the emaciated pitbull puppy who was seen jumping to freedom from the back of a truck? The heartbreaking condition she was in was a sight that tugged at the heartstrings of everyone who witnessed it.  We are thrilled to share that she is doing remarkably well now! While she still has her moments of shyness and can be reserved when encountering new people, especially men, she has made tremendous strides in her journey toward recovery. With the right amount of patience, love, and encouragement, she is slowly beginning to trust those around her. Aggie depends on her other canine friends to lean on boosting her confidence, When she does open up, she reveals herself to be a vibrant and loving girl, full of personality and charm.  In her transformation, she has come a long way from her original condition. Initially, she weighed a mere 20lbs, a figure so alarmingly slim that it was just skin and bones, barely holding onto life. Now, after receiving the proper care and nutrition she so desperately needed, she has blossomed into a healthy 40lbs girl. It’s truly amazing to witness how she has come to life, regaining her strength and vitality, and embracing the joy of being a dog. The change in her appearance and spirit is not just about weight gain; it's about the newfound hope and happiness that radiates from her as she navigates her new life, surrounded by loving individuals who truly care for her wellbeing.  Due to Aggie's naturally reserved and shy demeanor when it comes to interacting with new people, it is essential that she has access to a fully fenced-in yard. This precaution is critical because, in the event that she were to escape or get loose, her instinct would likely be to run away from the situation, seeking solace in a place where she feels safe. Unfortunately, this means that she would be difficult to catch without adequate measures in place. With her tendency to shy away from unfamiliar faces and environments, having a secure, enclosed space ensures her safety and provides peace of mind for her caregivers. A well-fenced yard will prevent any potential escapades that could lead to her becoming lost or frightened, and it will enable her to enjoy her outdoor time without the fear of wandering off into unfamiliar territory. Therefore, the need for a secure yard is not merely a suggestion but rather a necessity to keep Aggie safe and comfortable in her surroundings. ##2351638##
