My story

DOB April 26, 2013 A gentle giant with a heart of gold! Pumpkin is a calm, sweet boy with a solid build and a soft heart, and this sensitive gentlecat is looking for a calm, patient, and loving forever home. His ideal day consists of sleeping peacefully under the covers, coming out at night for a few pets or brushing or maybe a game or two (with the right toy, of course!), and patrolling the tallest spots of the home like a silent ninja at night and settling in quietly and respectfully nearby. Despite being extremely shy and timid at first, Pumpkin has made incredible progress in foster care and has shown that with time and routine, he can learn to trust and even flourish! He does best in a quiet, adult-only home, where his schedule-loving personality and independent spirit can truly shine. While Pumpkin is generally gentle and calm, he does need his personal space respected, especially around his belly or when he’s tucked into his favourite safe spot. He may hiss to let you know he’s uncomfortable, but he never holds a grudge. In general, he’s incredibly sweet and loyal with the person he trusts. If you’re a night owl or simply someone who appreciates the quiet companionship of a thoughtful, low-maintenance cat who values his independence, Pumpkin might just be your perfect match!
