My story

Hi! I’m Hopscotch and I’m so excited to find my forever family. I am super sweet, cuddly, and love to be close by my humans. My name matches my moves- my favorite move is hopping up on the couch to get my humans to play or to snuggle in for a nice nap. I’m still learning about the world -I can be shy at first but when I start to feel confident (and check back with my humans often) I like to explore. I am super curious and love to sniff things out. Leash walking is a new adventure to me but my foster family thinks I’ll pick it up quickly, I’m already doing well. I’m still a puppy so I’m learning what I can and can’t chew on but I’m easily redirected by a toy. When I’ve got my full puppy energy I love to play and pounce on toys if you toss them for me. And of course I’ll treat you to a some adorable zoomies.After playtime there is nothing I love more than napping on the couch. I like to be snuggled up directly to one of my humans, but if not I like to nap close by. Sometimes I even crawl right between my humans on couch and plop down with a big happy sigh!I’ve done amazing at potty training and have no accidents inside! I always hold my business until my foster mom takes me outside to do it. I seem curious and excited to meet other dogs and children when we go outside. I haven’t met a cat but my foster family thinks I’d be curious about that too. I’m one adorable and affectionate pup looking for my forever family.--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions.
