Meet Snack Pack – a gentle soul looking for a soft place to land.Snack Pack’s story began when a landlord discovered her alone in a vacant home after an eviction. She had been fending for herself for weeks and was eventually brought to safety. Understandably, Snack Pack was underweight, scared, and unsure of the world around her. Despite everything she’s been through, this quiet girl has shown resilience and strength. She’s a social eater and is slowly learning to trust again. Right now, she’s still very fearful and will need a patient, understanding home that can offer her the time and space she needs to feel safe. Snack Pack would thrive in a calm, quiet environment with someone willing to go at her pace. If you have a gentle heart and a peaceful home, Snack Pack just might be the one waiting for you. Will you be the person who helps her discover the comfort of love again? If you`d like to meet our available animals, please check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours! Both of our locations are open Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12-5 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays 12-7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information on our adoption process, including requirements and fees, visit: www.fairfaxcounty.gov/animalshelter/adopt
