My story

Meet Vida! Vida is a 7 month old, 35 pound lab mix. She has the softest coat and a stunning blue eye - so be prepared for everyone to tell you how gorgeous your dog is! Vida is full of love and has a silly, playful, personality. She is happiest right by your side - or your lap if you'll allow! And while she does love snuggles (like a lot), she has mastered being independent and will play with her toys or chew on a bone quietly by herself. Vida does very well in her crate and is doing really well with potty training too. She is great with other dogs and cats! Vida can be skittish in new situations and takes a little bit of time to warm up to new people. She has made incredible progress and continues to amaze me with her new bravery every day. Once she warms up, Vida is the sweetest girl with the perfect touch of playful spice! Vida has recently discovered she LOVES the water, and will be a fantastic hiking, swimming, adventure partner. She will do anything for her people and loves to please. Vida is looking for a home where she can settle in and continue to grow her confidence. Vida is friendly with all, but as of now she would do best with older children in the home, as fast movements and loud noises from young kids can overwhelm her. She would thrive with another dog to take cues from, though it's not required! If you're looking for a girl that will bond with you like no other, Vida might just be your perfect match. Vida is estimated to be 7 months old and 34 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
