My story

Luna Nicole is a 1½-year-old, 8-pound Shih Tzu-Terrier mix with a tender heart and a delicate soul. She came to Camo Rescue as an owner surrender alongside her brother, Mozzie—and the two are a bonded pair who must be adopted together. Luna is the more timid of the pair, and new environments or unfamiliar people can be overwhelming for her. She’s very skittish at first, but with time, patience, and a little encouragement from her somewhat-braver brother Mozzie, Luna begins to show glimpses of the sweet, loving pup she truly is. She just needs someone willing to go slow and let her blossom at her own pace. She’s doing great with her potty training and is making consistent progress! Leash walking is still new to her, and she’ll need a steady, gentle routine to build her confidence and help her learn. Luna Nicole gets along well with other dogs and would benefit from sharing a home with a calm, confident pup who can help show her the ropes—though it’s not a requirement. Most importantly, Luna and Mozzie need a home that understands their shy nature and is ready to help them feel safe and loved. These siblings would do best in a quiet home, either with adults or older children who can give them the time they need to settle in. Adoption fee is: $375 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
