My story

Hello everybodeeeeeeeee! It is I, Grover! I’m an young, adorable Double Merle Great Dane. And just like the lovable blue monster, I have a few special quirks – I am Deaf, but I can see even though my eyes are starburst, and I do see some shadowing. But my ability to connect with my surroundings is incredible. Unlike my Sesame Street namesake, I don’t have his endless confidence... I am a little shy and timid at first, but don’t let that fool you — I’m a Super Grover in the making! I have a gentle personality that’s ready to shine once I feel safe, and I’m on the lookout for a loving home where I can grow and gain confidence. My story hasn’t been easy — I was a stray, living on the streets, and that’s made me a little cautious. I need a bit of time to trust new people, and it takes me a moment to warm up to new situations. But once you’ve earned my trust, you’ll see just how much love and loyalty I have to give! I’m looking for a forever home with a medium or large doggie companion who can be my guide and best friend. I need a buddy to help me feel safe and build my confidence. Like the Sesame Street crew, a good friend can make all the difference! My training is a work in progress, and I’ll need patience and guidance. But if you’re looking for a pal who’ll grow with you and become your loyal partner, I’m your guy! While I’m not a superhero yet, with time and training, I know I’ll develop into the best sidekick you could ask for. Please spread the word to help Grover find his forever family!
