My story

Hops is an 11-month-old, 69-pound Doberman mix with a soft, sensitive spirit. She’s a bit shy at first, but beneath that quiet exterior is a sweet, gentle dog who just needs time, patience, and love to feel safe.?She walks beautifully on leash, moves with calm, steady energy, and has a soft, gentle mouth. Hops allows handling and seems to want connection—she’s just learning how to trust. With a patient person by her side, she’ll continue to gain confidence and come out of her shell.?Hops would do best in a calm, low-key home with someone who understands shy dogs and is willing to let her open up at her own pace. A gentle, consistent routine will help her thrive, and a confident dog companion could be a great influence.?She may not rush to greet you, but once she knows you’re safe, her loyalty runs deep. Hops is ready to start the next chapter of her life with someone who will give her the time and love she deserves.
