My story

10 year old Valerie deserves to have a soft bed to lie on in a home that adores her. Sadly, this sweet senior was tied to a bike rack and abandoned. We told her that an amazing person will come for her. Could that person be you? Like all of our pups, she would love to meet any potential canine siblings before heading home to make sure that it’s a great match. Valerie keeps her kennel clean, holding it until she is outside. This is a good indication that she is house trained.Her foster wrote this about our sweet girl, `She’s is 100% fully house trained. No accidents in the house! She lets you know when she needs to go out. Completely trained and listens very well. She`s made two dog friends with the neighbor dogs thru the fence. They will run up and down the fence line “chasing” each other until she’s worn out. Her tail wagging the entire time. We do have a few cats in the neighborhood that wonder thru backyard here and there and she did come across one the other day. I was weary when she caught a glimpse of the cat, but she moved on about her business and couldn’t care less about it! She is also very much kennel trained. She knows “kennel up” which we do when we leave the house. She goes right to her kennel and lays down! Also adding again- she is amazing with kids. We have had absolutely no issues. She will occasionally go snuggle them in their beds although she prefers sleeping in the king sized bed with us! She really is the perfect dog and if I could keep adopt her I would. She is an older lady, very well trained, knows some cool tricks and has a little spunk to her when she’s feeling excited!! She really is the perfect dog for anyone. She really just adapts to her surroundings and goes with the flow! ` Valerie was able to go on a Dog Day Out recently and this is what they had to say, `Valerie was amazing! We took her out for a doggy family sleepover with our three kids and us! We took a walked, watched a movie, ate ice cream and snuggled all night long! Only complaint- she’s a bed hog, but the best kind! She knows lots of different commands like shake, sit, lay down and stay. She`s awesome with kids (babies and older). She would be a perfect companion for any family as she’s so chill and go with the flow of whatever the energy is of the house!`Valerie is ready to go home!
