My story

Marvel is a handsome tricolor pit bull who has so much to offer to his forever family! Marvel has had a difficult life so far, but at only 3 years old, he has plenty of time (and room) for improvement! Despite everything, Marvel has a truly wonderful personality, and has behaved himself very well while in our care. He is friendly with strangers and tolerant and calm during vet exams. He is quickly becoming popular with staff and volunteers. He is walked by volunteers and is friendly, goofy and energetic. He is described as being smart (he knows sit and our kennel routines) and an `extremely gentle walker`. He loves pets, especially getting his ears rubbed, and treats.Marvel participates in playgroups and would love to meet any potential canine siblings! He enjoys other dogs and is gentle and reserved. Marvel spent the day out of the shelter with a volunteer and here`s what they have to say about him: `Marvel is so sweet. We walked for a mile at Loose Park. He stays right by your side, maybe even in front of your feet. He would be eager to chase any squirrels or birds away. Then we drove to the Berkley Riverside Park and walked about a mile there. He was excited to see other dogs and people but we kept our distance.
