Misty

My story

Misty is a gorgeous female tabby kitten with a heart full of potential! She’s extremely curious and loves to play and wrestle with her sister, Mystic. Misty came to Anderson Humane with her mom, who was a local stray cat, and her siblings. Because of this, Misty is a bit under socialized and working on her confidence around humans. In her foster home, she’s learning how to coexist with people—she’s perfectly content watching them from a distance for now, taking everything in at her own pace. While she’s not quite ready for physical contact, she’s making steady progress and showing signs that she’s open to learning what it means to trust. Misty would thrive in a home with a confident cat who can show her the ropes of being a companion kitty and help her build up her confidence. She has done amazing with every cat she’s met so far, and her playful spirit shines brightest in feline company. Misty would do best in a calm environment without small children, as they can be a bit spooky for her. With time, patience, and the right feline friend by her side, Misty has so much potential to blossom into a truly wonderful companion!
