My story

Meet Jagger! This 4-year-old, 17-pound heartthrob is as handsome as he is sweet — and best of all, he’s a non-shedding pup who’ll need regular grooming to keep his adorable looks in check. Our best guess is he’s a Shih Tzu mix, possibly with a touch of Schnauzer or Yorkie. Jagger came to us as a stray from the Central Valley, and while we believe he was loved at some point, sadly no one came to claim him. But he’s not looking back — he’s now thriving in foster care here in the Bay Area and is ready for his forever family. He’s that perfect medium size, with a laid-back and friendly personality that makes him a total joy to be around. He’s great with dogs, cats, and kids, and would make an amazing companion for almost any home. Jagger loves car rides, sunbathing, curling up on a lap, and chewing on bones. He’s doing great with crate and house training, and he’d love to be your new walking buddy. Jagger is an all-around good boy who’s ready to bring love and warmth into your life — help us find him the home he truly deserves.
