My story

Meet Oatmeal! Oatmeal is a 4-year-old Shih Tzu mix with a heart as soft as his name suggests. Weighing 16 lbs, this sweet neutered male is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for his forever home. Originally found as a stray, Oatmeal made his way from a shelter in Queens to Westwood, NJ, in search of a fresh start. We don’t know his previous life, but we do know he’s gentle, affectionate, and just wants a cozy place to call home.
