My story

Meet Lavender Lavender came to HAP as a super, super pregnant stray mama. Within two hours of getting into foster, Lavender delivered three healthy babies! All of her kittens have found homes and now it's time for sweet and perfect Lavender. She's the first to greet you when you enter the free roaming cat room and she'll weave around your legs until you give her the attention she's craving. One of her favorite things to do is be held like a little baby on her back and get the best chin scratches - she'll stretch all the way out for it! Lavender just loves love so even if she's not being held, simple chin scratches or back rubs will do. We don't think she's had a lot of experience with toys as she seems to get confused sometimes but is starting to learn how to play! She also has done well with other felines in the room though she does like her space and boundaries respected so would do best with cats her age or older. Lavender is a sweet, affectionate, gorgeous girl looking for her furever home - could that be with you? Stop in today and meet her and find out! If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
