Zack (white and grey) and Roxy (grey) were born on June 10, 2021, and they're a bonded pair from the same litter. They were dropped off by a person who really didnt care about animals, and they were 7 weeks old. Theyre so similar but so different so I'll describe them separately. Zack has been a shy boy since the day we got them, but the thing he loves more than anything is belly rubs and butt pats. Once he feels comfortable, he wants nothing more than constant attention/affection. He will never fail to guide you to the nearest rug to flop over on to allow you to pet him for 20 minutes straight. He's very vocal in the morning because he wants to remind you that its breakfast time. He loves catnip toys that are kickers, and also loves spring toys that he can chase around the house for hours on end. He's a slightly picky eater but sometimes you just have to make him try the food for him to eat it. You'll never be able to spend alone time in the bathroom because ever since he was a baby, I've rubbed his belly with my foot on the bathroom rug, in every home we've lived in (we've moved 3 times). He loves cardboard, boxes and paper bags and laundry baskets. He likes sleeping in bed with you but if you move too much he'll sleep in his own bed. He doesn't like seafood but he loves chicken. He loves dangly toys. He really likes jumping under the blankets when youre making the bed and then stays under there. When you're laying in bed and you move your hand or foot around under the blanket quickly, he'll "hunt" it until he gets sleepy. Roxy is the extrovert of the two, and she is the most vocal kitty (shes smaller than Zack) ever, sometimes I have entire conversations with her. She's also a huge belly rub and butt pats enthusiast. She gets the zoomies a lot especially when shes near something she can wrap her arms around or when shes being pet in a bed, she'll just flop around while youre petting her its so cute. I call her my shadow because she loves following me around and sitting near me in whatever room im in. She's not as picky of an eater as Zack but she's also not a fan of seafood. When you give her dry food or treats, she likes it when you toss them because she enjoys chasing down and "hunting" her food. She also loves spring toys she can chase around the house. When there's a sun spot on the bed or floor she'll lay in it and fall asleep, shes a huge napper. She's a major fan of cuddling, so if you let her know its an option she'll sleep with you every night. I somehow managed to teach her how to fetch, specifically with hair ties. She likes to bring you hair ties and will meow at you until you throw it, which then becomes an endless cycle. She likes her head caressed when shes falling asleep. These cats love each other so much. They both do this thing where when they want to lay in the spot the other cat is laying in, so the cat will smother the cat that's sleeping with affection until they get up, and then the first cat will steal the spot. They both like to eat from eachothers bowls but I've tried to train that habit out of them as much as possible because I dont allow them to. They love falling asleep on a heated blanket, especially during winter. They love churu treats and Deli chicken slices(i give these to them every blue moon). They love affection, they love talking to you, and they also LOVE to play in cat tunnels. They love cat towers that are tall because they can spend the entire day window watching. I bathe them every month and as long as you hold them still(I place my hand around their shoulders to prevent them from moving their hands up) they do really well, just dont let them grab onto you, but they do scream the entire time. They've never hissed at a new person, but they do get really anxious and hide when new people show up, they've never bitten us or a vet. We've never allowed them to go outside. Theyre fully vaccinated and neutered, and chipped. They really are a calm pair of kitties, and I hope their new parents can give them the life they deserve for the rest of their lives.
