My story

I’m one of the lucky pets featured in Clear the Shelters 2025, which means my adoption fee is $50 lower until September 15. Current Location: Baltimore, MD Meet Jasmin! Jasmin is a 5-month-old cutie with a mix of sweetness, playfulness, and a shy streak that makes her all the more endearing. She loves nothing more than being with her people - curled up on the couch with a toy, soaking up belly rubs, or handing out kisses. She’s generally relaxed but enjoys bursts of play or short walks, content with light daily activity. Energy and Personality Jasmin is medium energy, balancing chill time with fun play sessions. She often entertains herself by tossing toys in the air or chasing a ball as it rolls off the couch. She can be timid at first but warms up into a loving, snuggly companion. While she is choosy about other dogs and cannot live with cats, she loves all people and thrives in a home where she’s the center of attention. Training and Behavior She is crate trained, mostly house trained, and leash trained, with a growing list of commands under her belt including sit, down, potty cues, and crate cues. Jasmin is praise and food motivated, making her a quick learner. She is working on building confidence with other dogs, managing some possessiveness toward her humans, and easing her anxiety on walks. Social Life Jasmin enjoys the company of the male dog in her foster home but is not a fit for homes with cats or female dogs. She has shown some playful compatibility with a 4-month-old female pup but struggles with older females. Her playful nipping means she may be better suited for a home without young children. Special Traits She is devoted to her humans, has a soft spot for belly rubs, and absolutely loves her lambchop toy. A fenced yard would be ideal since she is anxious outdoors on walks and could be a flight risk if startled. Best Home Fit Jasmin will do best as an only dog or potentially with a compatible male dog. She needs a cat-free home, preferably with a secure fenced yard, and patient owners who can help her build confidence. A quiet, loving environment where she can relax, play, and feel safe will bring out her best. Veterinary Care - Up to date on vaccinations for her age - Spayed - Microchipped - On heartworm prevention - On flea and tick prevention - Treated for worms and parasites

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Jasmin, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
