My story

MEOW TWAIN is a gorgeous, slightly fluffy black and white tuxedo kitten with a white nose and an impressive mustache. He is a lively little guy who loves to chase springs and balls and to play with his siblings. He is also a sweetheart and will hop onto your lap for cuddles as soon as you’re settled in. Meow Twain and his siblings were born outside on a farm and socialized from an early age. A true explorer, he will wander outside through an open door, so it’d be good to keep an eye on him. He is a bit shy at first and may take a week or so to get used to his new surroundings, but when he does, Meow Twain is happy to be hand fed and ready to bond with his new family. He would love to be adopted with one of his siblings, DOTTY PURRKINS or HUMPHREY BOBOOP, but if not, he must be adopted into a home where there is another kitten or playful young cat. Meow Twain has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.  You can meet MEOW at the cattery inside our partner PetSmart in North Eugene (2847 Chad Dr, across from Costco).  Please submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store, and an adoption counselor will contact you to set up a meet and greet.   The $175 ($320 for a pair) adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
