My story

Meet Simba!This handsome, longhaired orange gentleman is ready for a fresh start. Simba came to us after his family had to make the tough decision to surrender him due to allergies. He previously lived as the only pet in a home with a child, and he’s now looking for a new family to love. Simba is a calm and independent guy. While he’s not a fan of being picked up, he loves gentle pets and will happily soak up your affection. He’s also got a playful side and enjoys engaging with his favorite toys when the mood strikes. Simba had a urinary issue in the past, but he’s since been cleared by the vet and is doing great! To help keep him healthy, a canned food diet is recommended. If you’re searching for a sweet and mellow feline companion with a stunning orange coat, come meet Simba—you might just be his perfect match!If you’d like to meet our available pets, please check the “shelter information” box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
