My story

How this pet arrived: Sara was brought in by a community member on June 12, 2025.Why this pet is the one for you:Say hello to Sara, a shy kitty with a quiet charm. Sara came to us with a few of her littermates and has always found comfort in their company. Because of this, she needs to be adopted with one of them or into a home with a confident, social kitten or cat close to her age who can help show her the ropes. Sara is still learning that people can be trusted, and a quiet, low-traffic home will help her settle in and feel safe. She would appreciate a home without the hustle and bustle of young children or dogs, where she can adjust at her own pace. A calm environment with cozy hiding spots, warm sunbeams to nap in, and a gentle routine will help her slowly come out of her shell. Confinement will be the key to her success-starting in a small, quiet room where she can feel secure and begin to explore when she's ready. She may not be the first to greet you at the door, but with patience (and a few tasty treats), she'll begin to show her softer side.
