My story

Meet Winnie — a resilient sweetheart with a heart full of love and a strong little spirit. Winnie came to us after a traumatic accident; she was hit by a car when her former owner allowed her outdoors. Her right leg and pelvis were shattered, and while a skilled surgeon was able to save her pelvis, her leg could not be repaired.Today, Winnie is a happy, healing tripod with a little bit of hardware and a whole lot of personality. She’s been recovering in a kitty condo, so we’re just starting to see her true personality shine — but so far, she’s shown us she loves to knead biscuits, purrs when she’s happy, and has a playful, curious side. Winnie is now fully healed and ready to find a safe, loving, indoor-only forever home where she’ll be cherished the way she deserves. She is likely best as an only cat, or with a slower intro to any other cats in the home.
