Dear Theodosia

My story

I still cannot believe that someone surrendered this sweet girl, but their loss is your fortunate gain!!! Because Dear Theodosia (or Dosia Dog or Dosia, as I have been calling her) is just an absolute sweetheart!!!  She is the perfect size and estimated to be 1 year old, so she may not be getting much bigger. But she is well on her way to growing into the perfect dog that she is going to be for years to come! She is quiet, sweet, and a snugglebug of a dog who is an EXCELLENT passenger in the car, very comfortable sleeping in her crate, sleeps through the night, is the cutest little snorer, and loves to be where you are, but she shows no immediate signs of separation anxiety when left alone in her crate or the car for short amounts of time. She is so smart, understands no and sit,and to go the door to go outside when she has to potty. We are currently learning to walk on a leash better (this girl loves to go for a walk). She is also learning to lay down and learning 'off' so that she does not counter surf or jump up on people in her excitement to say hi. She is very motivated by food and positive words of encouragement. She just lights up when you engage with her because she is so friendly and joyful - she is just going to bring so much joy to whoever is so lucky to adopt her!
