My story

This beautiful lady is Sweet Pea! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl on 6/23, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim her. The volunteers named her Sweet Pea because of her super friendly and loving disposition. She was initially nervous in the loud, overwhelming shelter, but with a little love and reassurance from staff and volunteers she's adjusted very well. Sweet Pea is a smart girl too and knows several commands including sit, stay, down, and shake. If you're looking for a more mature dog without the puppy energy to share your home and heart with please come meet Sweet Pea! Sweet Pea is approximately 8 years old and is a medium-sized dog. She is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Sweet Pea is waiting patiently in run 89; her ID # is 11324. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
