Salem

My story

We've had Salem for about a week, and once she settled in, she has been a pleasure to foster! She's down for anything, whether it's playing with you, doing her own thing or relaxing and snoozing nearby. We haven't found a toy she doesn't like, and she equally enjoys playing with a person or independently. She is not super vocal, she prefers to show her affection with headbutts and circling your legs. She is a little bit of a picky eater, and so far will only eat paté. She uses her litter box well and isn't messy about it, but she likes to claw at the edge of the litter box, which made us wonder if she might prefer a covered one. She was curious about our dogs from the start, but hissed in the beginning. However, day by day, she has gotten braver and can now easily hang out around them with no problem. As long as you start slow and are patient with her, I think she could really adapt to anything you throw at her. She's an all-around great cat and will make a wonderful companion!
