My story

"Looking for a pint-sized best friend with a big personality and an even bigger heart? Meet Lulu! At 7 years old, Lulu is the perfect blend of silly, snuggly, and just a little bit spicy. Once she decides you’re her person (which doesn’t take long at all — especially if treats are involved), you’ll have a loyal lap buddy for life. She lives for belly rubs, head nuzzles, and curling up in your lap. She’s only 7.5 lbs, and she’s working on gaining a little bit of weight. Lulu is social and outgoing, but she has her boundaries — she likes to be the one to initiate hellos. So, she’s looking for an adult-only home with people understand that respect earns love (and she has a lot of love to give). She’s crate-trained and food-motivated, and she’s just as happy hanging out with you on the couch as she is going for a long walk or an adventure. She’s also doing well with house training and even uses puppy pads if needed. This fun girl has some silly quirks that keep her foster family laughing — like standing on her back legs when meals are being prepped or balancing on her front legs when she goes potty (yes, really). Her foster family says she’s endlessly entertaining and unbelievably sweet. She’s also very smart and learns new things quickly, especially with treats. Lulu would love to be the queen of the castle, but she could be okay with a similarly-sized, calm, canine companion.
