My story

How this pet arrived: Mishka was brought in by her previous owner on June 27, 2025.Why this pet is the one for you:Are you an introvert who really gets cats? Do you have a quiet home, a spare room, and a bottomless stash of wet food and treats? Then boy, do we have a feline enigma for you. Introducing Mishka, a complex, curious, couch-adjacent mystery wrapped in fur. Mishka's motto is "me time is the best time," and she takes her personal space very seriously. In a past life, she was expected to share her home with other cats and let's just say, she filed an official protest. Loudly. She must be your one and only pet and is not taking applications from children either (no offense, kids, she just prefers a more sophisticated crowd). She needs an adopter who's not in a rush and understands that relationships take time and treats. Lots of treats. This isn't a quick-bonding kind of cat. Mishka may spend months in her cozy cave (office, spare room, linen closet-you name it), carefully observing you from her chosen fortress. But one day, she'll appear on your bed or couch, purring like a fuzzy motorboat. Brush her once, and you'll have her heart. Brush her twice, and she'll give you the meow. The sweet little meow that means, "I'll allow you to serve me snacks now." She's not for busy homes or the easily discouraged, but if you're looking for a quiet, meaningful bond with a quirky cat who just needs her time and space to bloom, Mishka might just be your soulmate.
