Meet Armani ACCT-A-224791! Armani is a 4-year-old male who came in as a stray on 7/3. The finder noted that he was “friendly”. Medical Notes: Per an exam on 7/5: -QAR scared, tense, recently shaved -Teeth are stained, tartar along gum line Per Offsite Hospital 7/4: Overview: -Respiratory distress with stertorous breathing, resolved -Unkempt haircoat and matting, resolved -Yeast ear infection AU -Diarrhea Summary: -Armani was presented to PASE on 7/3 for evaluation of acute respiratory distress. He was sedated for an upper airway exam which did not reveal any foreign material or obvious cause to his respiratory distress. X-Rays confirmed the abnormal area noted previously was no longer present. He received an injectable steroid to help with inflammation of the airways. He is now breathing very comfortably. While sedated he additionally was fully shaved due to his severely matted fur coat. Additionally his ears were cleaned and an ear infection was diagnosed. This morning he is having some soft stool.” Per staff 7/3: “Collapsing trachea PASE r/o obstruction, advised he likely got himself worked up.
