My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:I lived with children in my previous home.I am a sweet, shy, older gal, looking for the perfect forever home!Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!I have been known to shower my favorite people in love!I love getting pets and - you guessed it - snuggles!I am a cat that is in need of a lap! I can't wait to be your new lap cat.I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.A volunteer writes: Tasha greets each day like it's a gift. And, as far as I'm concerned, if Tasha's next to me, it most certainly is. Tasha's sincerity comes from her heart and subsequently melts mine. Initially adopted from ACC as a kitten, Tasha has every reason to trust things are going to work out for her again. When she was brought to us in her carrier, Tasha was taking a nap but popped up and started purring when staff welcomed her. Her good natured trust is always on display and when I peeked in and saw her sleeping with her face pressed against the door, I couldn't help but gush at her sweetness as she stretched a paw out to quietly knead the air. I vowed to come back later and though I found Tasha had moved her nap to her den, she came bouncing out to say hello and returned to stretching herself right at the front.
