bet you didn't see coming! A one of a kind BONDED PAIR! This duo is one like we have never seen! We have never seen a pair SO PERFECT!! Ollie (Havanese) and Archie (doxie) both 4-5 yrs old rescued originally from a sad puppy mill situation who LOVE EVERYBODY - CATS DOGS KIDS - TRULY AMAZING. Housetrained fully vetted and just the perfect family dogs. More photos and video upon request. Our rescue shelter partner foster reports about both individually: "Ollie is a 4.5 year old Havanese. His birthday is 1/22/21, he came from a puppy mill bust we helped with a few years ago. Luckily he was born at our shelter so he never had to live in that environment, however the traits of puppy mill dogs are always passed down to the puppies. He is extremely smart and very eager to please. He will go outside and potty as many times as you will let him and he refuses to poop in his kennel, is left too long in a kennel he will occasionally pee in it. He will also use a pee pad if it is out. He is the sweetest boy and has the biggest personality. He constantly keeps us laughing. While he is a few years old he still has the puppy spirit. He knows how to sit and how to dance. He was raised with another large dog, a cat and is good with children. He gets groomed regularly and has never had an issue with the groomer! He loves to be around Archie, run around outside with the other dogs but more than anything he loves to cuddle up on the couch or in someones lap. He is a mommas boy through and through. His nicknames are Ollie Ollie, Olivander, fluffy butt and if he’s in trouble his full name, Oliver lol. Archie- 4 year old Dachshund. His birthday is 2/28/21. He came from a different puppy mill situation where he wasn’t as lucky as Ollie. He spent the first year of his life living in a wire crate on his previous owners back porch through every condition. He has no socialization and unfortunately he pays the ultimate price for that. Archie took a very long time to get used to a home environment when I agreed to foster him. He is about 90% housebroken as he still has occasional accidents. He is kennel trained and very rarely uses the bathroom in his kennel. He was very poorly bred and is a double dapple. As a result of this he does have trouble with both his hearing and his vision causing him to be very jumpy and will scare easily. He also has several areas of hair loss that have never grown back due to his mill conditions but they don't require any treatment. He very quickly attached himself to Ollie when he came into my home and hasn’t left his side since. He uses Ollie almost as a security blanket, if he goes outside he follows him everywhere he goes, if he is inside and not sleeping he is wherever his brother is. They eat together, they sleep together, they go to the groomer together. They truly are best friends and do not go anywhere without each other. He is great around other dogs (he usually just avoids them but is not scared of them), great with cats, due to how nervous he is I would not recommend him be around small kids. He is scared of his own shadow and would do best in a low energy quiet environment. He takes awhile to adjust to new people/surroundings but once he does he is an absolute sweetheart. As most dachshunds do he absolutely loves a warm blanket to bury himself in. His nicknames are arch, archikins, archibald. They typically eat once a day around 5pm. They eat Purina Pro Plan small bites, they get fish oil and a probiotic in their food daily. They get Nexgard and Heartgard monthly on the first and have been routinely vaccinated through the shelter. They get regular dental cleanings. They have been indoor only dogs and are kenneled when nobody is home due to my other dogs being out but they would be perfectly fine left out. They are not destructive, they don’t chew. Ollie will occasionally play with toys but it is rare. They love to go for car rides. They have been going to the groomer since I have had them every 2-3 months. They are great for baths but not so much nails trims. They were raised by a shelter worker and have been extremely socialized to all the foster dogs, cats and every other animal that has been brought home. They truly are the best boys and they are so easy going. They deserve the absolute world and I hate that I could not be the one to give that to them anymore."
