Gemma is a 3-year-old female torbi-brown domestic shorthair, born in the summer of 2022. She is spayed, microchipped, and has been in excellent health her entire life — no history of illness. I can provide her original medical records as well as her PetKey registration for reference. Gemma is an incredibly sweet, gentle, and intelligent cat. Once she becomes comfortable with her environment and the people around her, she forms strong bonds and enjoys soft, affectionate interaction — especially gentle pats on her lower back. She’s also very friendly with other cats: calm, respectful, and never confrontational, even during mealtimes. She’s surprisingly cooperative when being bathed — no scratching, no fuss, just quiet patience, which is rare and remarkable in a cat. During the day, she is independent and low-maintenance — she enjoys lounging in sunny spots, napping quietly, or simply watching the world from a cozy corner. When she’s hungry, she will politely ask for food without making a fuss. One of her most endearing quirks is that she actually meows “mama” when being fed cooked shrimp — it’s incredibly sweet and always brings a smile. She also has a playful side: at night, she sometimes enjoys “hunting” small plush balls around the house. And when she’s tired, she’s happy to be held for long cuddles — her body is soft and relaxed, and she may even doze off in your arms or beside you. That said, she generally prefers sleeping in her usual cozy spot overnight. Gemma is being cared for by a member of the community.
