My story

Looking for a sweet couch potato? Meet Lucille, a 2-year-old, 49-pound lovebug who is happiest when she’s snuggled up with her people. She’s a world-class cuddler, loves to snooze the day away, and will happily cover you in kisses every chance she gets. Lucille enjoys leisurely walks and is wonderful on leash, making her an easy companion for a calm stroll around the neighborhood. She’s also crate trained and perfectly content to nap while you’re away. Getting into the car takes a little boost, but once she’s settled in the backseat, she rides peacefully and quietly. With her easygoing nature and affectionate heart, Lucille is the perfect pup for someone looking for a loyal, low-key best friend. And with her sweet little spots and irresistible charm, she’ll win you over in no time. If you’re looking for a gentle companion with lots of love to give, Lucille is your girl. As always, we strongly recommend bringing any resident dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet with potential new family members to be sure it's a good match. If bringing a dog for a meet and greet, please bring proof of up to date rabies, bordetella, and DHPP vaccines.
