My story

Introducing the most precious adorable girl, Sailor. She is a 4 month old shepherd/hound mix that recently arrived from Virginia with her 3 brothers. She is the smallest of her siblings but is the most agile. She has the most adorable puppy dog eyes, bits of white on her snout, and a beautiful tan coat and floppy ears. We expect that she will be medium-large when she’s finished growing. Sailor absolutely adores people and will melt into your arms to get all of your love. She does jump up for attention so her family will need to work with her on manners as she grows. She is happy to play with other dogs and hasn’t paid too much attention to the cats in her foster home. She is an active puppy that would benefit from a family that likes to hike, run, or do other activities that will benefit a higher energy dog. Sailor is working on housebreaking, but she will need a family that is patient and committed to her continued training including housebreaking, socialization, obedience etc. She recently attended an adoption event and did wonderfully meeting new people and dogs.
