My story

Summer is sunshine in dog form, sweet, gentle, and always ready to brighten your day. She and her sister Sissy were found roaming the streets of Houston, scared and alone, before a kind-hearted Good Samaritan brought them to safety. Now in our care, Summer is blossoming into a loving, affectionate pup who’s discovering that life can be full of soft beds, kind people, and belly rubs.She had a mild case of demodex mange when she arrived (nothing a little TLC couldn’t fix!), and she’s already well on her way to a full glow-up. Summer is playful and snuggly, with a calm, friendly vibe that makes her an easy companion for just about anyone.
