My story

DOB 28-Apr-2024 Marcie is being fostered at one of Toronto Cat Rescue’s pet store partner locations. Please note that if you’re approved to adopt, you’ll need to pick them up from the store within 24 hours of being approved. Marcie is a young mama cat who’s officially retired from motherhood and ready to enjoy the finer things in life—like your undivided attention! Now that her kittens are off on their own adventures, Marcie is looking for a forever home where she can be the center of affection and make some adult cat friends. She’s a total lovebug who adores being petted and will happily rub against your legs to remind you she’s there (and maybe try to trip you with love!). Marcie has a playful, spirited side too—she’s not just about cuddles. She loves to chase toys, zoom around the room, and pounce on wand toys with kitten-like enthusiasm. She’s also got a quirky way of showing her attachment: if she thinks you’re about to leave, she might give your feet a gentle nip to protest. Marcie would thrive in a home where she can bond closely with her humans and enjoy both affection and play. Marcie is currently cutting back on the kitten food and is ready to transition to a wholesome, quality adult canned and kibble diet. She eats and drinks well and uses a variety of litter boxes and types of litter.
